Adega 23 Reserva Tinto 2018
% vol.

Adega 23, in Sarnadas de Rodão, 10 kilometers from Castelo Branco, is the realization of a dream made reality by ophthalmologist Manuela Carmona, that of bringing new life to this land in the interior. Her entrepreneurial spirit and passion, together with the demand and excellence of winemaker Rui Reguinga, make this project not only a calling card for this region of the interior, but also puts its wines at the top of the best that is currently made in Portugal.

The 12 hectares of vineyards in schist soils that surround the winery are composed of white varieties such as Arinto, Syria, Verdelho and Viognier and reds such as Rufete, Aragonês, Touriga Nacional, Syrah and Alicante Bouschet.

Adega 23 Reserva is the first of its kind, made from the best grapes of the Syrah and Alicante Bouschet varieties, worked by hand and perfected in aging for sixteen months in French oak barrels

Dark garnet color, fruity and intense aroma with complexity, notes of ripe black fruit harmoniously combined with vanilla from barrel aging. Long and persistent finish.

A very elegant wine that deserves to be paired with the traditional roasted goatling or the oven-roasted veal.

Price: 30€
