Sauvignon Blanc 2009
Dirk Niepoort doesn’t stop, and we always find new projects. It is not common to see this Bordeaux caste planted in Douro lands. It was an experience (only two thousand and such bottles). And an experience gained! The wine is very nice, and maybe it is at its peak. I confess that I would never say in a blind proof that it was a sauvignon blanc, because the aromas (vegetables) and the usual characteristics of the caste are not present. More clearly looks like a white Niepoort. Mineral aroma, in the mouth is fresh, tasty and has medium body. Nice finish too. A good bet!
