Morgado de Sta. Catherina 2014

% vol.

It was already the best “arinto” of Portugal. In former times, “Quinta da Romeira” presented us with a low range brand, which was always a winning bet: “Prova Régia”. And then with the top of the range, this “Morgado”, of old vineyards. Then there were many fluctuations, with years when the wood was in excess … Then, changes in the owners, in the enology … But the mark was still kept …
We can feel the citrus in the aroma. In the mouth it is pleasant, mineral and fruity, and has a fresh and reasonable finish. Wood q.b. It’s still a good bet, especially at this price range.
Price: 9.50€
