This was once a big white wine. Made with “Verdelho” and “Arinto”, and with vines of altitude, we would expect a wine more fresh and crispy. On the contrary, it is a boring, heavy wine, with the barrel much in evidence, and naturally rough end. It may be that with the entry of the Symingtons in this house, this brand returns to the golden years of its beginning.
