Vidigueira Premium 2016

The Adega Cooperativa of Vidigueira has some interesting wines. This is one of them, taking into account the price range. It’s also one of those wines that cost some amount of money, but very often is promoted on commercial surfaces, and costs a little less. It doesn’t seems to be an Alentejo wine because of its lightness (only 13% alcohol content). The aroma is a little closed-mouthed but in the mouth is subtle, elegant and tasty, with quite acceptable end. It’s a good wine at an affordable price. We only criticize what is written on the label. It is worth transcribing:
“Aroma intenso a frutos vermelhos com notas de baunilha e cacau. Na boca é extremamente encorpado com a fruta e a madeira onde estagiou em plena harmonia. Final longo e muito encorpado. “

Translation: Intense aroma to red fruits with notes of vanilla and cocoa. In the mouth it’s extremely full-bodied with the fruit and the wood where it staged in full harmony. Long and very full bodied end.
Now, what is written on the label is exactly what the wine is not !!! Intense aroma of red fruits, no way. It’s exactly the opposite of ” extremely full-bodied “. And the long end, also not … I repeat: wine is good and I advise it. Therefore, this disinformation on the label, which leads people to deceit, is not understood. How the humorist Herman Jose said once: “There was no need …”
Price: between 5.5€ and 9€
