Knowing that Baga is one of the most difficult grape varieties to “tame,” it is usually used as a blend variety. This wine aroused my interest in being a baga varietal. It is a wine with a good aroma, smooth in the mouth and with a good volume. It lacks a lot of persistence at the end of the mouth.

As for gastronomic harmonization, I wanted to confirm if the typical acidity of the Baga variety could “cut” the fat of the lamb roasted in the oven, without overlapping too much. Wine generated consensus among those present and proved to be up to such a challenge.
