Quinta do Gradil Chardonnay 2016

“Lisboa” is a region where this grape does well. But this wine is too basic. It’s almost a pool wine. Low complexity, too light and even watery finish. Whoever has been in this wine world for a long time knows that you have to be very careful with what is said on the back label. Let’s see an excerpt: “… the living freshness is well married with the unctuousness and the excellent volume of this wine, which ends with a long finish.” Now, if it is true that the wine has some freshness, ointment and long end are characteristics that it surely does not have.
