Valtuille Vino de Villa 2018

The name of the winemaker Raul Perez, must be one of the best known of the Portuguese. Raul and the Perez family currently manage this winery, the Castro Ventosa winery, however their ancestors have been dedicated to cultivating the vine since 1752.

This wine from plots within the municipality of Valtuille, predominantly of the Mencia variety, compared to our portuguese Jaen, with a beautiful red color, it presents an aroma of slightly ripe red fruits and a light floral. In the mouth, elegant, fresh and with an acidity that makes us come to the fore being done without destemming, but everything in balance and structure. A wine with a good quality-price ratio, with its very own terroir, a marked identity, gastronomic, at first some portuguese consumers may be surprised but then, as the Portuguese proverb says, first it becomes strange afterwards it becomes entrenched.
