Iconic wine of Dirk Niepoort, with grapes of traditional varieties of “Douro”, in which the fermentation occurs mainly without contact of the must with the films, originating a lighter wine, more Burgundy.
Closed aroma and relatively uncharacteristic. In the mouth is light and elegant, as you would expect, but with little taste. It reminds you those French Pinots Noir without any taste. The final is a little rough (is it still not time to open the bottle?).
In short: a weak “Charme”.
