Pasmados 2015

This is a historical wine from this house of “Azeitão”. And it was precisely at the “Hotel Casa de Palmela”, very close to “Azeitão” and at the gates of “Setúbal” (a beautiful place to stay) and more precisely in its restaurant “Zimbral”, that we tasted this wine.
The restaurant was a let down. Contrary to the compliments of the Expresso Guide. At least as far as wine is concerned: Wine list very reduced, prices 3 to 4 times the reference, staff to serve without any wine knowledge, and worse, wines served at totally inadequate temperature (eg bottles taken from the showcase of the room , being under the effect of light and heat). Naturally, if you taste this hot wine, you will not be able to pay in favor of it. Made mostly with Shyrah (52%) and also “Touriga Nacional” and “Castelão”, it is an unpretentious wine, pleasant, relatively tasty and little more. The complexity is not much and also the body, the end is forgettable. But it is still a simple and enjoyable overall wine.
